House of Holland. LFW 2011. A/W 2011.

HH's collection is, as always, limitless. With no set trend, colour or form, Holland's A/W 2011 collection is not letting down the kooky side. With looks ranging from those you'd find in your Gran's wardrobe, to those in that door-knocker wearing friend's close, there's bound to be something for everyone and everywhere...whether you're heading to the bingo, golf course or student rave.

The lady-like pieces, at just under or over the knee, are big this season. You can team the look with a bit of structure on top like HH has done, or find a less 'tea party' midi skirt (preferably in maroon/grey/black) to work down with a grungy tee and DM's.

Also big this season is the wide leg trouser. Channel 70's flair with a pair of wide legs, whether they're printed, denim or colour pop, and a vintage knit on top, until the summer sun well and truly kicks in, at which point you can chuck on a colour/print clash vest or blouse. Be as bold as possible!

I am in love with the square-patterned pieces. The print reminds me of the kind of doodling I'd do on the square paper in maths lessons...swirls, shapes and diamonds were my forte.

The brogues, carried through from the last couple of seasons, teamed with the rainbow, striped socks = clownesque.

At least it can be said that there won't be any complains in terms of a lack of variety. HH has stuffed in more dress styles than imaginable --> Midi - check. Body con - check. Garden - check. Maxi - check. And with all the tweed, clash, patterns, logos galore, Holland has outdone himself once again.
